We are delighted to list the Sunreef 62. The Sunreef 62 is a prestigious boat ideal for family sailing and charter. It’s also an elegant boat with a big sail plan and excellent daily sailing averages that can reach 250-300nm daily, giving the best of both worlds – both luxury and fun sailing.
Zahora was built in 2008 on order for her current and sole owner, who has used her for family sailing and private events in Ibiza. She had a carbon mast, canoe carbon boom, additional carbon insets under the nacelle to increase stiffness, and a custom twin anchor setup.
The layout has three distinct areas: the large cockpit with a wet bar, teak table, teak floor covering, and seating leading into the saloon. Inside the saloon is a lounging area and table seating, and the galley is on the port site neatly separated from the entertainment areas. Then there is the flybridge with a fantastic view, teak table, seating, and lounging areas.
Zahora has 3 luxury double en suite cabins, double bunk areas in each corridor, and a whole crew cabin forward with two bunks and a bathroom. The beautiful interior finishes are American Walnut and Anegre woods; the work surfaces in Corian.
She has air-conditioning throughout, a pressurized water system supported by two water makers and a massive 2640W of solar power. There is also a host of new equipment on board as she was meticulously prepared for the cruise from Europe to the South Pacific, which set sail on the 1st of March 2022
The most important items in the preparation include
A full repower with 2 Generators from 2022 and Yanmar engines from 2020 and 2021
A silicone anti-fouling by Hempel with an 8y lifespan, applied Feb 2022
Code 0 and the asymmetrical spinnaker from 2022 both used only 3-4 months
All halyards will be replaced in 2022, and spares for many of the essential onboard items

This Sunreef 62 is ready to cruise with water toys: SUP, wakeboards, surfboards, dive equipment and compressor. The dingy is easy to hoist with a neat crane system that lifts it onto the after deck.
