Amongst the current models, Absolute officially welcomed a new range of yachts with the 48 Coupé.
Absolute has announced that it’s developing the 48 Coupé, the first model in a new ‘green’ range that will feature solar power. The Coupé range will join the yard’s established Flybridge and Navetta lines. A ‘Generation 2022’ model, the 48 is expected to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2021.
The first renders of the model show a large swim platform and an infinity cockpit with facing sofas on both sides. The main-deck interior features an aft galley, a lounge with a C-shaped sofa and adjustable table, and opening windows on the side, as well as solar panels on the roof. The yacht will be powered by Volvo Penta IPS engines.
“The Coupé range is inspired by a ‘green attitude’ that Absolute is developing,” the yard stated. “Our design team has materialised the ambition towards a more sustainable way of boating and manufacturing at Absolute’s facilities.”
“As always, our models are driven by a strong innovation which comes from within, thanks to the fact that Absolute is continuously looking for improvements to better the quality of life on board.”
The builder’s plans for the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival also include the world premiere of the 60 Fly, another ‘Generation 2022’ model.
